Nicholas Corrin

Nicholas Corrin is originally from Europe. He was born in England, and later lived and studied in France, Switzerland and Italy. He was trained in Oriental Medicine at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine, NM and subsequently at South Baylo University, CA. He completed foundational training in Ayurvedic Medicine at the American Institute of Vedic Studies, NM. Prior to this, Nicholas did graduate work at the University of London, UK where he focused on the art and philosophy of the Renaissance. He spent a year in Western Turkey studying the healing temples of ancient Greece.

Nicholas developed Eclectic Healing based on two foundations. One is the breadth and depth of the Renaissance, a period when holistic thinking and wide ranging knowledge were customary. The other is reverence for nature. The roots of his approach to Chinese medicine lie deep within Taoism and also in Zen. As a result, Nicholas has become known for his advanced techniques in subtle energy healing, and for his successes in treating difficult conditions. Nicholas developed his unusual abilities to direct Qi into the patient's body through many years of practice, study, meditation and contemplation. Out of this he was able to create VibropunctureTM, a non-contact form of acupuncture where the patient receives and feels strong flows of healing energy in their body.

Besides his work in medicine, Nicholas is a writer and teacher. He has taught at prestigious schools such as the University of Paul Valery in France, The New School for Social Research in New York, and the Maryland Institute of Arts. He frequently conducts workshops and retreats. He is also the author of “The Power of Letting Go” a comprehensive study of self-healing, meditation, and man's place in nature and the cosmos.
